Plans to build a 717,000-square-foot industrial building for the company in the Couchvillde Pike Business Center were announceds Tuesday bythe center’s owner and developer . Constructiomn is slated to begin laterthis month. The move will combin e Nissan’s operations now housefd in two buildings in Smyrna in the AlamvilldRoad area, and no additional jobs are expecter to be added, says Nissan spokeswoma Julie Lawless. The tentative opening date is April she says. The new Nissanm Parts Distribution Center will featureda 32-foot clear height and a truclk parking/loading area to accommodate 275 truck trailers aroune the building perimeter.
